A Visit To Taipei Art EXPO 2026


Last week, we took a trip to visit the four-day Art EXPO, which is held annually here in Taipei, Taiwan.  More than hundreds of artists were represented during the event, with a huge variety of artworks featuring paintings, photographs, calligraphy, handicrafts, sculptures, and more can be seen on display. There were large crowds of art lovers and collectors coming from different parts of the town to discover new works. Visiting A Museum - Discovering the art of Hans Makart


Yesterday I had an opportunity to visit the National Museum of History, Taipei, to see the artworks of Hans Makart (1840-1884). He is an influential painter, designer, and decorator from the Austrian Academic Classical Artist. I have not been exposed to his artworks before; only through this museum visit did I learn more about his paintings for the first time.
